In this six-week study, we’ll explore what we mean by calling, God’s view of work, finding God’s calling for our lives, and living out God’s calling in our lives. Seeped in Scripture, this study is designed to affirm our callings in Christ and challenge us to be open to new callings as we walk along the path God has given us.

To guide us through the Advent season, which this year begins on Sunday, December 3, and ends on Sunday, December 24, we’ll focus on four reflections as part of this study. The accompanying videos will dive deeper into the keywords from each week.

This Bible study is designed to live up to its name and help us to redeem our time in a world awash with busyness. But we’re not to redeem our time for ourselves alone, as God has a purpose for us to rightly use our time in the callings he has given us and for the role he has assigned us in furthering his kingdom.

Whether you’re reading this study in the days before Easter or after, renewing our hearts is an evergreen theme, one the Bible returns to again and again. This renewing is ongoing for believers, as applicable to those who have walked with the Lord for decades as to those who have been saved for days. In this six-week Bible study, we’ll examine why this theme resonates for us and how we can live a life of renewal every day.
